A hold may be placed on any item in the library's collection.
There is no charge to do so, but a 50-cent fee will be added to your card
if you do not pick up the item by the date indicated on your hold notice.
Holds may be placed at any public desk or through
WYLDCat,
the online catalog.
Step One:
Connect to
WYLDCat,
the online catalog, and then click Cheyenne. Locate the item in the catalog.
(If the screen says "Search Results" and you are looking at a list of
items, click Full Details for the specific item you want.)

Step Two:
In the screen labeled "Item Information, " click Request (blue box on
the left side of the screen).
Step Three:
Enter your library card number (exclude "a" and "b") and your four-digit
PIN. If you don't know your PIN, enter WYLD. Click Place request.
The next screen will confirm the hold you have just placed. Click OK at
the bottom of the screen.
