Set your own goal, then read anything that interests you and is appropriate for your reading level — items from the library or your own books.
- Place a sticker on a number each time you read toward your goal. If your goal is to read for 25 days, you should read for at least 30 minutes per day.
- When you finish your 25, you will receive a completion prize and be entered into a drawing.
- The first day to pick up prizes is June 12. MAKE WAVES ends August 14; no completion prizes will be handed out after this date. However, the prize drawings will take place after the program ends.
- FOR KIDS & Teens: Sign up on any floor and return your reading card on the 2nd Floor. For each five (books, days, or hours) you complete, you’ll receive a prize.
- FOR ADULTS: Sign up on any floor and return your reading card to the 3rd Floor. Completion prizes can be picked up when you return your reading card.
- AT THE BRANCHES & ON THE BOOKMOBILE: Sign up and return your cards at the desk. All other guidelines apply.
