LARAMIE COUNTY LIBRARY OFFERS BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING SESSIONS

Whether you’re not sure how to use a keyboard or you’re looking for introductory information about software, let the Laramie County Library help you with free basic training sessions.

These hands-on classes are open to everyone. Pre-registration is required and can be done by calling 634-3561 or by visiting the Ask Here desk on the 3rd floor. Registration begins one week prior to each class.

Classes take place in the Computer Classroom of the new library, 2200 Pioneer Ave. in Cheyenne.

Friday classes take place at 2 p.m., and Saturday sessions start at 10:15 a.m. Upcoming basic computer training programs and dates are:

• Microsoft Access: Friday, Sep. 5
• Using a Mouse: Saturday, Sep. 6
• Keyboarding: Friday, Sep. 12
• Using a Computer: Saturday, Sep. 13
• Using the Internet: Friday, Sep. 19
• E-mailing: Saturday, Sep. 20
• Microsoft Word: Friday, Sep. 26
• Microsoft Excel: Saturday, Sep. 27

For all classes (excluding Keyboarding and Using a Mouse), participants should be familiar with using a mouse. With the E-mailing class, participants need to know how to navigate the Internet.
