Whether you’re not sure how to use a keyboard or you’re looking for some introductory information about software, let the Laramie County Library help you with free basic training sessions.
For all classes excluding The Basics of Keyboarding and The Basics of Using a Mouse, participants should be able to comfortably use a mouse.
LARAMIE COUNTY LIBRARY OFFERS BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING SESSIONS
These hands-on classes are open to everyone. Pre-registration is required and can be done by calling 634-3561 or by visiting the Ask Here desk on the 3rd floor. Registration begins one week prior to each class.
Classes take place in the Computer Classroom, located on the third floor of the new library, 2200 Pioneer Ave. in Cheyenne.
Thursday classes begin at 7 p.m., and Friday classes take place at 2 p.m. In April, Saturday classes start at 10 a.m.; in May, Saturday sessions begin at 10:30 a.m. Upcoming programs and dates are:
For The Basics of E-Mailing, The Basics of Using WYLDCat and The Basics of the Library’s Electronic Databases, participants need to be comfortable navigating the Internet.
