A wide variety of research databases are available. These databases can be accessed outside the library using your library card (no letters or spaces) and your four-digit PIN.  If you don’t know your PIN, enter WYLD. These are just a few of the many available:

  • Chilton Library (auto repair manuals)
  • Ebscohost (a variety of topics with an easy interface)
  • Heritage Quest (genealogy)
  • Learning Express Library (study guides and practice tests)
  • Mango Languages (learn new languages)
  • Morningstar Investment Research Center (companies, funds and more)
  • Novelist (guide to fiction and read-a-likes)
  • Reference USA (business and residential directory)
  • Sanborn Maps (historic Cheyenne maps)
  • Wyoming Newspaper Project (digitized historic newspapers)

Visit the Cheyenne, Burns or Pine Bluffs library to use the following databases:

  • Ancestry Library Edition (genealogy and family history research)
  • Hein Online (legal research)
  • The Foundation Center’s Funding Information Network (grant resources, Cheyenne only)

If you need assistance using the databases, tutorials are available, as well as detailed troubleshooting hints. Library staff can assist you over the phone (307-634-3561), in person or by chat.
