Gifts and Pledges Received for the New Building
It is well known that the Laramie County Library is preparing to construct a new building. It is also well known that over $8 million in building enhancements and needs have been cut in order to stay within the budget allowed by the special tax, while maintaining the integrity of the building's construction and its size of 100,000 square feet.
Please contact Mary Meyer, Foundation Director, to make an appointment to see the plans and learn about the variety of options and naming opportunities available in the new building.
You could help restore, for example, carpet in some areas instead of stained concrete; or shelving with wooden stack ends versus acrylic stack ends; keep wooden ceilings in the gallery instead of acoustical tile; or upgrade the reading chairs for more comfort; and the children's area has amazing opportunities for, we hope, just temporarily lost enhancements which, if restored, would create an incredible learning environment. Call today for more information at (307) 635-1032, ext. 127.
