Do you like to draw? Want to have a chance at having your name and art on display? The Laramie County Library is having a bookmark contest for Laramie County 3^rd and 4^th graders. Deadline for returning the bookmark art form is Wednesday, May 15.

The contest is based on the Summer Reading theme “Dig In!” Some of you may be receiving these bookmark contest forms from your art teacher.  You can also access it here or at the Cheyenne, Burns or Pine Bluffs libraries.

Winning bookmarks will be professionally printed and distributed at the three libraries and all art will be displayed in the Cheyenne library through September 3.

Stumped by what your child will create for a science fair project? On Tuesday, December 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Laramie County Library 2^nd floor Storytime Room, Cheyenne science educator, Tom Farrell will instruct you on the ins and outs of all things science fair. Be prepared to be entertained, informed and come away with some creative ideas for your child. You’ll be on the way to an amazing science fair project.

This session is for students in grades 4-6 and their parents.

• | PARKING

1. The parking lot west of the Laramie County Library is designated for those who are using library services.
2. Overnight parking is prohibited.
3. In cooperation with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, the Laramie County Library will have:
   1. 16 parking spaces conveniently located near the entrances in both the public and staff parking lots designated for carpools only.
   2. The designated parking spaces are reserved for vehicles with more than one person and will be clearly marked with surface paint and/or signage.
4. Parking spaces for the disabled will consist of 10 spaces in the bank of parking spaces nearest the building and 4 spaces on 22^nd Street.
5. The parking lot on the northeast corner of the site is designated for employee parking.
