From September 9 to November 2, 2012, you have the unique opportunity to experience an exciting traveling exhibition called Discover Earth: A Century of Change. What is it? It’s a small science museum on the first and second floors in the library!

The primary message of the exhibition is that the global environment changes – and is changed by – the local environment of our community. Based on observation, the information in the interactive displays includes Predicting the Weather, What Makes Weather, How Environment Impacts Earth, and more. You’ll learn how wildlife and humans have adapted to the climate in which they live. You’ll get to see local weather photos and read local weather stories. And throughout the time that the exhibition is here, we’ll have many programs for all ages that relate to Discover Earth. Click on the “events” tab on this website.

Laramie County Library is proud to be one of only ten libraries across the entire country to host Discover Earth.

If you’ve already toured the exhibition, please fill out a survey about your experience! Your input will help us develop and implement new programs and exhibitions in the future.
