Library Invites The Community To A Public Meeting
Cheyenne, Wyo. - With the new library building project underway, the Laramie County Library System will hold another public meeting, to provide the latest information to the community.
Open to all, the meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, in the library’s Exhibition Gallery, 2800 Central Ave. in Cheyenne.
As the library team completes the design development phase of the project, the community is encouraged to share their thoughts about the look of the new library. This input is crucial, as the building project team gets ready to prepare final construction documents.
Members of the building project’s team will facilitate the meeting, including lead architect Andy Nielsen.
The library expects to begin hard construction on the new facility by January 2006, with an anticipated opening in late 2007.
LCLS has held numerous public meetings, focus groups, and workshops throughout the past several years to discuss various aspects of this building project. More public forums are expected throughout the duration of the project.
Those who cannot attend the meeting are welcome to share their comments by e-mailing building@lclsonline.org, calling 635-1032, ext. 121, filling out a comment form at any LCLS location, or completing an online form at www.LCLSonline.org/building/suggestions.html.
