Library Will Hold Another Public Meeting Regarding Laramie County Library
Cheyenne, Wyo. - With a potential sixth-penny tax election a strong possibility in November, the Laramie County Library System will again hold public meetings to discuss the Laramie County Library building project.
The meeting, free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, in the Laramie County Library’s Exhibition Gallery. The library is located at 2800 Central Ave. in Cheyenne.
Members of the building project’s architectural team will moderate the meeting, including Andy Nielsen of Anderson Mason Dale. The evening will primarily consist of a brainstorming session where members of the community can share their thoughts on a new conceptual design for the library facility.
LCLS held a number of public meetings, focus groups, and workshops throughout the past several years to discuss various aspects of this building project. More public forums are expected throughout the year.
Those who cannot attend the meeting are welcome to share their comments by e-mailing chairman@larm.lib.wy.us, calling 635-1032, ext. 121, filling out a comment form at any LCLS location, or completing a form at www.LCLSonline.org/building/suggestions.html.
