We offer one-on-one sessions to help you solve a specific problem, such as using library eBooks, starting a job search, or attaching photos to an email.
These sessions are not for complex problems such as learning Windows 8/8.1, removing a virus, or issues with hardware. Limited sessions are available.
- Classes take place in the Computer Classroom on the third floor, unless otherwise noted.
- Register by calling 634-3561 or (removed “by”) visiting the Ask Here desk on the third floor.
- Doors open five minutes before each session.
- Each session lasts 45 minutes.
Self-Guided Learning Station
The library provides a Self-Guided Learning Station next to the Ask Here desk on the third floor. This computer has videos and tutorials for hands-on learning, including mastering basic mouse skills, browsing the Internet, using email, learning Microsoft Office products, and connecting with the library’s eReading resources. Staff members are nearby to provide limited assistance.
Check the current library calendar for dates and times, and if you have any questions about the classes, staff will be happy to assist you!
